Stone Sinks
A fascinating trend in bathroom design is that of the stone sink. Stone sinks are available in an almost infinite amount of colors and styles. Stone sinks are long lasting, durable, and best of all, beautiful pieces of artwork.
From a design aspect, Kraus has brought us a sink that gives us a feeling or warmth. While stone is usually cold, and sometimes interpreted as a modern element, it is also diverse enough to work with traditional design plans. A stone sink can work in a modern, clean line bathroom, and can just as easily transition into a warm, traditional space.

Kraus currently has an entire line of stone sinks that are available in varying shapes, sizes, and colors. When working with stone, it is usually safe to say that this new piece of art is custom and unique. These sinks are commonly seen as bowls, much like the glass sinks offered by Kraus. But Kraus also offers them in egg shape, rounded tiers, and even square. Some stone sinks are highly polished and smoothed on both the inside and outside of the sink, while others may leave the outside slightly raw and natural. A popular choice of consumers is Kraus’s KSV-222 model which features a smoothed inside and natural looking outside. In some cases this may work better for the space you have designed. The KSV-123 is shallow, lighter in color, and rectangular shaped. This is another very popular sink that can work in several design situations.
Know that the designers and engineers at Kraus have worked hard to develop a line of products that are function-able and durable, but reflect high end designer art and all the while, keep the price affordable to the end user. A stone sink could just be the next work of art you place in your home.
