Kraus 23-inch Under Mounted Single Bowl Kitchen Sink
Stainless steel kitchen sinks have been a personal favorite of many homeowners for the last few decades. Stainless steel seems to give us everything we look for in a sink, and yet continue to allow us a certain level of style and sophistication. But with more and more high-end kitchen sink designs, such as stone, copper, and detailed ceramic, coming into this competitive market, stainless may have been passed up… or has it?

While we were able to see the entire process from start to finish, our main product that allowed us an up close and personal experience was one of Kraus’s most popular models, the 23-inch Under Mounted Single Bowl Kitchen Sink. This sink, along with all of Kraus’s stainless steel kitchen sinks, uses a higher level metal material. This metal, call T-304 Stainless Steel, is resistant to staining, discoloration, and a variety of heat/cool temperatures. A high end satin finish that all of these sinks receive, finish them off with a layer of protection against scratching that may occur with non-treated sinks. A padded and stone guard insulation are an added feature that again, is not common in most stainless steel sinks. Kraus offers this feature standard to reduce sink noise that will make you wonder how you ever got along without it!

A few features that we didn’t notice until we were up close and personal is the visual appeal and the corner system. The finish on this sink is stunning making it a perfect selection to compliment any kitchen décor. The rounded edges and corners also set this design apart from some other stainless steel sinks.

Finally, a fabulous and simple alteration to the traditional kitchen sink: rear set drainage. By having a drainage system near the rear of the sink, you free up more cabinet storage under the sink. This was obviously a big plus and made a big impact in person!
