KRAUS Nitor Faucet Series Collection
Industrial elegance is the best way to describe Kraus’s Nitor Series collection of faucets. This collection features five models that all contribute to that modern industrial look that can set your space apart from any other and truly cause all of you neighbors to suffer from severe bathroom envy. Kraus’s design team has astounded us time and time again, but this time they have truly blown us away. Since the debut of the Nitor series, customers all over the globe have been admiring this wonderful piece of art. This magnificent series transfers easily from the showroom to your bathroom, looking the entire bit as intriguing as it does in the showroom.
The five models that have been designed by the Kraus team are very diverse. They have been designed to fit into the need for any space locale. The KEF-14501 is a single lever basin mixer (H 7”, W 5”, SH 4”, R 5”). The KEF-14500 is the single lever vessel mixer (H 13”, W 3”, SH 10”, R 5”). Also available are three other diverse models: the wall-mounted single lever basin mixer (KEF-14507), the three-hole basin mixer (KEF-14503), and the five-hole deck mounted bath and shower set (KEF-14505).
As with all Kraus products we have seen, construction is durable brass with a three plated chrome finish. The finish creates the sleek, stylish look that adds the sexy sparkle to your space. The first thing that we noticed in this piece, as we are sure any viewer would, is the dominant “L” shape created through it’s design. This work of art seems to pair very well with square and rectangular bases and sinks. While the artists at Kraus gave this piece several corners and ninety degree angles, they finished it off with a lever that creates a more obtuse angle. This particular element in the design creates an interest that steps it up from an all ninety degree angled piece.
Over all we can’t say enough about this amazing series by Kraus. Krause has managed to raise the bar time and time again by allowing us, as consumers, to have the best of both worlds: functionality and design. The Nitor series certainly demonstrates both. Just one look and you’re sold on artistic visibility. But to use this faucet also proves that Kraus is just as functional and usable as they claim. We give this, like many of the other Kraus bathroom faucet collections we have seen, a solid ten out of ten.
